Help me please for an adventure? [Archive] - Wizards Community

I need some help in create a big adventure. I know some people here possess incredible lore of all Forgottens Realms material. For me I alway go from one book to another taking a lot of precious time just for that when I can have do some working.

I need help in finding in witch book to look and/or your opinion and knowledge. I don't ask anything personnal it just that will save me a lot of time.

First I need to find a race that can be old as the Faerun begining. I want the region and city that will begin. It will be where it can have ruin and descandant of an ancient civilization people. If you can just say me in which book looking. I will check for my own in History of the realms and Frcs. But if someone have idea for a race and city. Please it have to be human races.

I'm not sure it can be done, mate. The Sarrukh (you can find more on them in Serpent Kingdoms) are quite old, but they're not exactly human... Humans didn't really do all that much until, hmm, Imaskar?

But I checked a little. The creator race will be a little to old and they not humans. But I thinking of Imaskari or Nethersee. I will check them more.

Imaskari not seem to have the profile for the task. Maybe Netherse because they was real powerfull wizard. The advanture will include big artifact situed around faerun build by ancient. But descandant of Netherse are quite rare I think more than Imaskari. Mulan are descandand of Imaskar I think. Don't know yet if they existe some Imaskar alive. The netherse appear in anauroch but they are now shadow like and more evil than ever.

Cormyr could be a great place to start with there knigh and wizard. They not far from anauroch and maybe descandant with strong genetic of Netherse could be found there.

I will check more origin of Cormyr and Netherse descandant.Maybe Imaskar but I need some big important kingdom, because all the kingdom would be involve. A good one too because they will ask help from ancient alliance , dwarf and elven.

I foud something great for my adventure.I was think of put some new history to fit my story. But I found about Narfell and Raumathar. I was planning to put agroup of ancient demon disciple. To resurect a old Demon who was once invade faerun. That could greatly be in Narfell ruin of Forteress of half-demon. They say that the fortess look like a demon head. Exactly what I thinking to create. But it already exist. WOW... Now I will check Raumathar and history of the forteress. The heroe could be a descandant of them. They say they was battle-mage exactly what I need.

The opening scene can be in the forteress. Where disciple of a Demon explore the ruin to reach an ancient sealed portal directly to a hell prison.

If someone know of forgoten demons or of Raumathar you can always help me.

Raumather descand of a royal blood living in Cormyr look great. They say some magical warded tall tower Still stand on the surface. Great exactly what I wanted the ancient to have make. Tall Tower magicly guarded and unknow inside.

For the Half-Demon forteress not find anything exept of one guy in a post wanted to know more about it. It could be an ancien gate to the abyss.

And the demon I can create one of my own. They say that hundred portal of ancient Narfell summing demon have taking place there. Some still prisoned there other live in old undeground ruins.

Technically, a lot of mage traditions claim descent from the Netherese... and quite a few people may claim or have descended from them, even without counting the Shades.

As for the Imaskari, the Mulan were iirc their slaves for a long time, so while they have some Imaskari blood it won't be that much. However, an offshoot of their civilization is still present at the time of 3.5 - the Deep Imaskari, detailed in the Underdark book. Basically they are an enclave which was teleported deep underground to survive the cataclysm that claimed old Imaskar. A recent novel supposedly said their city was destroyed and some (as in, not all) of them died, but you don't need to have that happen in your campaign.

narfell and Raumathar look real great for the adventure but they are to small. They don't talk of them a lot. Raumathar may not had be much powerfull. I need a real big civilzation like Netherese and Imaskari. I will have to make some history for fit in one or other. I see descandant of Netherese migrate in Haluruaa. Imaskari one almost all died or live underground like you say.

I think I will forgot of the Raumatar and Narfell. Descandant of Netherse Archmage with a strong link to the weave will be much better. Maybe descandant of Karsus:) Not the one in Brooklyn so famous in the forum.LOL,:D

But still the demon what can he be. We was improsined by artifact put in point of strategic where the weave flux it high. Maybe connected on some node. Maybe I can change all history and make Karsus the demon imprisoned. He invaded Netherse with his demon army destroy almost all the city in the war and battle with mystara where he kill her and was imprisoned by the Netherese artefact. Who force them to retreat to the abyss and the fifth artefact was light in is hell prison. :D Just kiding.

I will think about this one.. Not sure if it would be a demon , God or Devil. And what exactly he will have done and where he will be imprisoned..
