| The Ranger03-20-07, 12:30 AM | Anyone know where I can find info on the Jaezred Chaulssin beyond what's in WotSQ & the Dragon stats on Nimor? There's a brief mention in Sacrifice of the Widow that they're in control of the ruins of Ched Nasad, but I was hoping for a little more official data. I vaguely recall seeing something about a web enhancement for Dragons of Faerun on the group awhile back, but can't seem to find it on the WoTC site. Help would be appreciated. |
| Zanan03-20-07, 04:54 AM | Underdark has a few lines on them too, tough this has been changed somewhat with the events in WotSQ VI. You do find the leaders of this House listed in Dragons of Faerūn though ... and one wonders why they have not yet taken over half of Faerūn's Underdark, given their power. |
| Old Sage03-20-07, 07:12 AM | You also find a little on the Jaezred Chaulssin in the Character Profile: Nimor Imphraezl (http://crpp0001.uqtr.ca/w4/campagne/Downloads/Characters/Character%20Profile%20Nimor%20Imphraezl. htm) by Richard Baker here at WotC. |

| First_Legion03-23-07, 07:54 AM | Are all of the members half-dragons like Nimor or is he the only one and the rest are shadow dragons like the Patron Grandfather? |
| Dxzauvrinn03-23-07, 11:38 PM | Are all of the members half-dragons like Nimor or is he the only one and the rest are shadow dragons like the Patron Grandfather? Well, about half are drow half-shadow dragons and the elite upper half are drow-dragons or drow were-shadow dragons. I'm sure there's a few running around that are draconic drow and normal drow too. |
| First_Legion03-26-07, 01:33 PM | Well, about half are drow half-shadow dragons and the elite upper half are drow-dragons or drow were-shadow dragons. I'm sure there's a few running around that are draconic drow and normal drow too. I know there isa major difference between these types but the only ones I have heard of are the half-dragons. What are the other like and what can they do? |
| Dxzauvrinn03-26-07, 11:06 PM | I know there isa major difference between these types but the only ones I have heard of are the half-dragons. What are the other like and what can they do? Well, drow-dragons are shadow dragons (with lots of class levels) who can turn into drow several times a day. Draconic drow are just drow with the draconic template found in the Draconomicon. It's basically the offspring of a drow and a half-dragon drow. |
| First_Legion03-27-07, 11:53 AM | So they all have some type of shadow-dragon blood in them. What powers does eah type have, I mean I guess the drow-dragons have all the powers of dragons but do the others have the same or less. In the books Nimor never took the form of a dragon but it did say he chose a form of a drow, so what does he look like really? Also what are all the powers of his ring of shadows? |
| Zireael03-27-07, 02:15 PM | Nimor is just a shadow dragon in truth. |
| Dxzauvrinn03-29-07, 12:26 AM | Nimor is just a shadow dragon in truth. No. Nimor was not a shadow dragon nor a drow-dragon. He was a half-shadow dragon/half-drow. As far as powers are concerned, drow-dragons are JUST like normal shadow dragons with class levels and that can change to drow form. That's all. Half-shadow dragon/half-drow are just drow with the half-dragon template. Draconic drow are just drow with the draconic template. If you want to know what the power of those templates do, buy the Draconomicon. If you want to know what Nimor's shadow ring does buy the Dragon Magazine that he was written up in. I believe it was issue 322. You can buy it for $7 a www.paizo.com |
