| ragnarblackmane07-04-07, 02:56 PM | Does no one know who I am referencing or what? |
| Dark Wizard07-04-07, 03:53 PM | Yes, we know who you're talking about. You're not getting many answers because little has been published about Kane. He is listed as a 16th level monk in the Bloodstone modules, but those were from a long time ago and another edition (perhaps even two editions). I do not believe he has official 3e stats or any updated information. Some have created their own stats for him based on his original appearance in the Bloodstone modules and from what little information they can gather about him in more recent sources. |
| ragnarblackmane07-04-07, 04:26 PM | Could you elaborate on the "more recent sources"? |
| Dark Wizard07-04-07, 04:59 PM | I'm fairly certain his recent appearances are limited to the Sellswords trilogy by R.A. Salvatore. I'm guessing that is where he caught your attention. So really, you know about as much as any fan. |
| Lord Zeb07-04-07, 05:32 PM | Here is one version. (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?p=2952067&highlight=kane#post2952067) Scroll down a tad, this is one take on a level 20 Kane. I personally think he should be ~21 or 22 level monk. |
| sleyvas07-05-07, 11:19 AM | The last mention I can think of (stat-wise) was back in 2nd edition in the Bloodstone lands accessory. In that book, he was listed as a lvl 17 monk. Of course, that would have been about 16 years ago in realms time, so he's probably in his 20's for levels now. One thing that that source specifies about him is that he has a "spirit walking" ability that's much like astral travel, so if there's any prestige class that might give that instead of etherealness (or you could just rewrite the ability as etherealness which is gained at monk 19).It also says that he's working with Spysong and occasionally looks in on the monastery of the yellow rose (since he's not the head of it anymore, having put another monk in charge). Oh, and the recent representation in the sellsword's trilogy has him wielding a staff made from wood gotten from the gem tree. That's never been statted, but I'd bet it something akin to an epic level weapon. |
