Now that Myth Drannor is back an operational will the Knights of Myth Drannor be without a job? Will they be recruited or retire, or what? What do you think or know?

I suspect it'll be at least semi-retirement, given how long they've been at it. The book series coming out about their earlier days would kinda suggest that too I think... if you take it as someone writing their memoirs.

Based on Ed's comment over at Candlekeep the Knights are all but retired now anyway. The only Knight ed mentioned as still actively adventuring was Florin Falconhand. A few have moved back to Cormyr and are active in their repsective churches.

-Exactly- The Knights of Myth Drannor's best days are well behind them. When were those books set, anyway? If I am not mistaken, their "misadventures" took place a while ago.

Aren't they still being "played"?

Aren't they still being "played"?From what I gather at CK, yes AND no.

Officially, the original group is still playing their characters, but they haven't been able to get together in quite some time. What is meant by "quite some time" could mean months, or could mean YEARS, so its up for interpretation weather you would consider them 'active' or not.

Unless I've totally misunderstood what I've read over there, in which case Sage or someone else from 'over there' will be along shortly to correct me. ;)

There are big gaps between sessions, but the campaign is active -- and set nigh on twenty years behind the 'current' timeline. Mention of the Knights since that date has been kept, thus far, deliberately vague.
