| tae'graciel04-17-07, 08:35 AM | OK so I know im in the wrong section and i'm sorry but I don't know where else to post this. How can magic traps be disarmed? I belive in the DMG it says only rogues can disable magic traps... but what if a rogue who sees it points it out to a wizard, or the wizard can see the aura with detect magic... is there no chance for counter spell or dispel.. if not, that seems kinda cheesy, I don't know why a wizard cant... thanks guys! |
| Stigger04-17-07, 08:46 AM | Can't fathom why a wizard couldn't dispel it if they detected it, presuming they had a dispel of some variety available... counterspelling wouldn't work though, since the spell is already in effect and long since cast more than likely. |
