A few weeks ago someone mentioned offhand that the Syl-pasha was clandestinely backing Murannheim's movements versus Amn, or something similar, complete with a printed source.

Would anyone mind re-iterating the source and page number of said reference--I think it was something from 2e--as I have looked through the books I own and drawn a blank.

Going from memory... the reference comes from Empires of the Shining Sea -- in the section on the Sythilissan Empires as I recall.
