I'm glad she's gone, Mystra on the other hand (even though she looked like a 1/2 orc barbarian in last FR god tome) is a respectable deity. |

| Dark Wizard09-22-07, 11:33 PM | Didn't you get get the memo? Mysra was the divine name of Mystra 2.0/Midnight. Noticed how all the names get shorter, Mystryl, Mystra, Mysra. She just never got around to changing it on the letterhead since the original Mystra had so much printed up. She still didn't get through all of them before her untimely death. I got the notice in the mail in just yesterday, unfortunately due to mailing delays, it ended up being a posthumous letter. Hopefully her successor, Mya will fair better. P.S. When we run out of letters and the goddess of magic is simply known as " " it will be a sign of the end times. |

Haven't seen a word about that but you know if they rip up the Seldarine a hoard of pointy-eared fans will converge on Redmond (or Everett, wherever) with paintball guns and sling shots. But perhaps Fenmarel and/or Shevarash gets to bite the bullet. Doubtful but you never know, they're giving pink slips to deities everywhere. ;) |

Already we've seen they didn't follow through with her trying to absorb the Shadow Weave as a means of reducing Shar's threat. But then again, one of the Chosen could have an avatar waiting to emerge once the coast clears. As soon as it senses the Weave reforming, out she'll pop out...with a trace of the dying Chosen's personality as well. Considering Mystra (or Mystryl) was once Ed's lover, I'd bank on the Simbul being the one. Just as they're knocking down the zulkirs in Thay, I expect more to happen with Aglarond...such as with her daughter. |
