Uzzy 02-05-08, 04:35 PM	Hello everyone. As I think I mentioned before, I'm planning a Westgate campaign soon, and I've been working on details for the various noble houses in Westgate. Now, I'm expecting that my campaign will have Houses Cormaeril, Thalavar, Vhammos and Urdo as the main plot related houses (In my campaign, House Urdo is allied with the Thayans in Westgate). However, I would like some ideas on what to do with the other houses. I want to give them little twists to make each house distinctive. Any ideas on interesting themes to give any of the noble houses? The other noble houses, by the way, are Athagdal, Bleth, Guldar, Malavhan, Ssemm and Thorsar. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Phelf_Der_Zemit 02-05-08, 06:15 PM	Well, there is always the old back water cult hidden behind the bookshelves of the library. Ok, my story line of a Noble House. House Ssemm has a mystical bloodline. Not that of one entangled with arcane or divine might, but in fact that of the exact opposite. The benifactor of this line stretches back to before Mystral's fall. When Nethril was still floating, and when Mages still could catch divinty with a spell... The sire of this line thought that very thing. With one epic spell he ended all magic on Toril for a few short seconds. Sinse this time the Goddess of magic herself has seen to it that no one with a drop of ancient blood in their veins could ever touch the weave again. But they prevailed. Circomventing the weave and conventional magic all together, the Lords of the renamed house spoke to powers beyond and found what their heritage had bestowed to them. Beyond the beyond, exist beings that may share themselves with you in terifiying and yet magnificent ways. Giving you the power to wield that which even weave soothers can't. They found there ancestor again, and with him the wealth of knowledge that followed; Binding. They reveiled to the world of Toril that which had previously been lost. Flirting and controling vestiages became the staple of the house, even if that staple was cleverly crafted so that only the house itself knew it was there. Unable to wield the arcane themselves they bind the fallen souls of the powerful and let them do there bidding. -This is just an intresting plot line, I/you can put in the buisness aspect of the house, and who it is respected to other houses, and what not. And if this isn't what your looking for then you can scrap it. Good luck.
