Heya, I am comparatively new to DnD and am interested in the original Undermountain adventure as I am running the new Expedition to Undermounatin campaign.
I have already looked at the Dungeon Crawl: Lost Level, Return to Undermountain, etc. among the adventures available on this site.
Basically I want more room descriptions and encounters for the maps presented, and if somebody can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

You'll want copies of the Ruins of Undermountain (http://paizo.com/store/games/roleplayingGames/d/dungeonsDragons/roleplayingGames/wizardsOfTheCoast/aDAndD2/forgottenRealms/v5748btpy7mm5) and Ruins of Undermountain II (http://paizo.com/store/games/roleplayingGames/d/dungeonsDragons/roleplayingGames/wizardsOfTheCoast/aDAndD2/forgottenRealms/v5748btpy7mm4) boxed sets.

Thanks!Got 'em both.
Most of the dungeons are still empty though, with less than 1/5th of the rooms having proper description and encounters. While I take pride in my ability to construct adventures on the fly, I would rather have an extensive source of rooms, just in case.
Could anybody suggest another source of many rooms/encounters appropriate for the Undermountain?

Due to the background story of Undermountain, you do just about ANYTHING. Look at any module you have, and modify the room description

Let me also recomment extremly highly "Grimtooth's Traps" tomb which details hundreds of door, room, hallway traps.

In your spare time, just think of room descriptions and write them down... and use them on the fly while playing.

The possiblities are only limited by your imagination! :D

While I take pride in my ability to construct adventures on the fly, I would rather have an extensive source of rooms, just in case.Well, the first set covers the first three levels, while the second details three sublevels. And we know that levels four through nine have been designed but remain unpublished.

The new City of Splendors sourcebook has a complete list of levels and sublevels in Undermountain.

Could anybody suggest another source of many rooms/encounters appropriate for the Undermountain? You could try the articles for Undermountain in DRAGON issues #227 "Reports from Undermountain," #172 "Seeing the Sights in Skullport Dragon," and #176 "If You Need Help Ask the Drow."

Remember, the power groups active in Undermountain are as important in Undermountain play as the room keys.
