Questions on Hlondeth [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-13-07, 08:51 AM Is there a better description anywhere on Hlondeth and the ruling family/factions/guilds other than the main FR book or Serpent Kingdoms? I'm running a campaign in the Villhon Reach/Sespech/Chondalwood, and the PC's are heading to Hlondeth for the first time. They're tangling with Yuan-ti (backed by a sarrukh, but they don't know that yet!), but I'd love a better description than, "As your boat pulls up to the harbor, you see a huge city..." Or is there a good City/Town generator around I can use for a basis? I'll eventually need the same thing for Ormpetetar in Sespech.

06-13-07, 11:23 AM Yep, the Vilhon Reach boxed set will be VERY valuable for you. It will still leave a bunch for you to work out yourself but it provides a structure for you to build off of.

Further, there is some political intrigue between Hlondeth and Sespech since Baron Foesmasher's (I forget his actual name, foesmasher is just a nickname) daughter is engaged to . . . oh. . . I forget his name, the son of the ruler of Hlondeth.

There's really a TON of intrigue just waiting to be exploited. :D

And Baron Thurgar's daughter's name is Glysina ::grin:: Oh, yes, I've tied that in, too. One PC is from Elbulder, in service to the Sespech military (fighter), one a wild-elf from the Chondalwood (ranger), and one a half-elf from the Winterwood (sorcerer).
