| Suin Bahhar12-09-07, 10:33 AM | Yeah, you read that right. :D I used to have fun making Dragonlance munchies like Applecrisp and elven bread. Anyone know a good FR recipe for something that could be made in real life? No salamander eyes or frog legs please... Just good chicken plates and stuff... Thanks. |
| Karsus the Mad12-09-07, 10:38 AM | Dradeel's monkey balls from BG2. |

| Karsus the Mad12-09-07, 10:54 AM | oO Are you serious? Sounds like a perfect dish for me! Yep. It's some kind of chocolate candy. Talk to Dradeel in Spellhold and he gives you one of his recipes. It's a real recipe to:) |
| Suin Bahhar12-09-07, 11:16 AM | Ive got no save games left of being on Spellhold. The asylum was on of my favourite parts of the game, albeit a short one. |
| Karsus the Mad12-09-07, 11:32 AM | Here we go...:) Dradeel's Recipe: MONKEY BALLS (makes ~40) A) 1/2 c. peanut butter 1/3 c. honey 1/2 c. granola 1/2 c. crushed 'cheery' cereal dash nutmeg dash cinnamon 1/2 c. oatmeal B) 1 c. sugar 1/4 c. cocoa 1/4 c. butter 1/4 c. milk 1/4 tsp. vanilla INSTRUCTIONS: Mix ingredients in (A), except oatmeal. Roll into small balls about the diameter of a coin. Coat balls in oatmeal. Boil ingredients in (B) together for 3-1/2 to 4 minutes. Take from heat. Dip balls in chocolate using spoon or toothpick. Chill and serve. Monkey balls are to be served with the following poem on prominent display: "Monkey Balls" These sweet and gracious monkey balls, Served on plates and sold from stalls, Bring madness to these hallowed halls Of urban academe. Huzzaks for chocolate monkey balls! We'll eat them 'til the ceiling falls, 'Til Time, herself, tears down these walls Of urban academe. So buy yourself a monkey ball, Savour it and then stand tall, A bulwark 'gainst the deaf'ning call Of urban academe. |
| Stigger12-09-07, 11:33 AM | The Volo's Guides series surprisingly give quite a few recipes in them, over the course of the series. |
| Suin Bahhar12-09-07, 11:38 AM | Excellent! |
| Lord Karsus12-09-07, 01:17 PM | -Monkey balls for everyone, I say! |
| Rinonalyrna Fathomlin12-09-07, 06:10 PM | My sister recently made a baked desert called "Monkey Balls" (and I helped her roll the dough balls, dip them in egg and then in cinnamon), and it was quite delicious. A bit different from the above-mentioned recipe, but that one sounds good too.:) |

I think I'll be trying these various yummies when I get out of surgery. |

| Old Sage12-09-07, 07:59 PM | You could try 'hot buns' from Tantras. I'll let Ed explain:- "The taverns of Tantras serve the usual drinks and ‘hot buns' covered with melted cheese (some taverns putting sliced olives or slices of sausage on the cheese so they'll stick, to make their buns distinctive and popular), but little other food." |

I believe Elvish Trail Mix is: 1/2 cup shelled sunflower seeds 1/2 cup cashews 1/4 cup almonds 1/4 cup raisins or currants or raisnettes 1 small pakage regular M&Ms or nonpareil chocolate drops (chocolate with white candy beads on them) Mix together in a bag. Eat when got munchies. |

Some of this year's where: Japanese, Arabian, Indian, Mexican, French. |

Or, was that it? |

Boil ingredients in (B) together for 3-1/2 to 4 minutes. Take from heat. Dip balls in chocolate using spoon or toothpick. Chill and serve. Boil? I'm no master chef or anything, but wouldn't all of that fall apart if you boiled those ingredients? And what is "cheery" cereal? :) |
| Rinonalyrna Fathomlin12-10-07, 01:18 PM | Boil? I'm no master chef or anything, but wouldn't all of that fall apart if you boiled those ingredients? And what is "cheery" cereal? :) I guess crunchy stuff like Cheerios.:) |
| Lord Karsus12-10-07, 02:28 PM | Boil? I'm no master chef or anything, but wouldn't all of that fall apart if you boiled those ingredients? -No, because you have peanut butter, and honey to keep the mix together. In Mazoh Balls, you have egg to keep the mix together, and when you boil 'em, everything works out fine. Peanut butter and honey has more capacity to stick than egg, I would think. And what is "cheery" cereal? :) -Any variety of Cheeri-Os. |
| Draklinthor12-10-07, 03:42 PM | Thanks guys, I think I'm gonna have to try these out. They sound tasty. :) I figured the cheery ment some sort of cheerios, just wanted to make sure. |

| Mean Eyed Cat12-13-07, 11:26 PM | Boil? I'm no master chef or anything, but wouldn't all of that fall apart if you boiled those ingredients? And what is "cheery" cereal? :) Actually, I think you boil the ingredients in B, remove from heat, and than dip the rolled balls (A) in the mixture afterwards. |
| Suin Bahhar12-16-07, 08:19 AM | I found my old recipe for apple crisp. TIKA WAYLAN'S APPLE CRISP: 4 cups sliced pared tart apples (about 4 medium) 2/3 to 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed) 1/2 cup gold medal flower 1/2 cup oats 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened heat oven to 375. Grease square pan, 8x8x2 inches. Place apple slices in pan. Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake 30 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown. Serve warm and, if desired, with light cream or ice cream. K...now here are my extra comments... Add 2-3 teaspoons extra cinnamon Extra brownsugar Grease pan with stick butter Hope you enjoy the apple crisp. |
