| Olaf_Merchant10-08-07, 10:12 AM | Heya. I'm currently working on a bit of an adventure set in the Old Empires, and I was curious if anybody could be as kind as to point me to, or perhaps shed some light on some locations of the said area. I'm a tad short on sourcebooks on the area, and it's not an option in the nearby future to get any (too damned expensive for my lowsy financial situation, s'cuse me.), so basically I'd appriciate anything from web pages to small grains of info. What I've already got covered is - Cimbar (main city for the adventure, and surrounding lands and cities) - Reth, surrounding lands ...but I haven't a clue about the islands of the Sea itself. Wavecrest, Ilighón and Ixinos are a complete blank to me, but I'm rather sure one of them is or was the local pirate nation, something I was going to implement to the story. I also heard that there's a powerful sea hag living south (?) of Altumbel, who controlled a vast power of druidic magic (or at least storms and such), but I got nothing to go on there, either- but I'd be more than glad to get anything on her, and possibly implement her into the story as well. If you're feeling like sharing information on Altumbel's Delthuntle or Spandeliyon as well, I won't object- I didn't plan on taking the journey as far north, but if I end up with nothing on the pirates and the islands themselves, I might have to try to reach the trek to somewhere I have at least the faintest idea of. As always, any and all help on the matter are greatly appriciated. |

Here is a website dealing with Ixinos, which I think might be very helpful: http://www.aeolia.net/ixinos/index.htm The second edition source Vilhon Reach deals with Wavecrest and Ilighon if I don't mess things up now: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/2/fr_downloads/tsr9520.zip Have fun and I hope it helps. Until next |

| MarkusTay6310-08-07, 11:27 PM | I'm going to try again. You can find what you need HERE. (http://markustay.deviantart.com/art/The-Inner-Sea-66872579) ;) Note, the Dragon Isle in the Pirate Isles is what you are looking for. The other islands you mentuioned are controlled by the Emerald Enclave, I believe (Druids). Map Note: It's not quite finished - the road coming out of Surbroar (in Mulhorand) should continue north through Jhalhoran and stop at Maerlar. I think all locations are canon - it's been awhile since I re-visited this area. |
| Olaf_Merchant10-09-07, 12:51 AM | Ah, thanks for clearing that up. Now, I've at least a vague understanding of the three isles- but I guess I'll have to move the events just a tad more to the north, since I seem to have mislocated my pirate nation- thanks to MarkusTay for clearing that one up. *Bows* |
| MarkusTay6310-09-07, 08:25 PM | I finished the road, so there's a newer version now. ;) |
