| Sharess02-12-08, 09:10 AM | I asked this question at the thread where Baker (and more) give out answers, but thought someone else might know this: What about Tethyr. I read somewhere that bhaal-spawn is tearing up that land? Is that true? Or is, as far as we know, Tethyr the way it always has been? If some changes to Lands of Intrigue are common knowledge I apologize, but if so I have missed that info. |

That was a plot point in the Baldur's Gate: Throne of Bhaal CRPG (which was an expansion of Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn) and the novelization of said computer game. The action in the game took place mostly in Saradush (which wound up getting destroyed) as well as certain parts of Calimshan, such as the Marching Mountains and the Forest of Mir. The Bhaalspawn saga has come and gone though. The event in question isn't a current event, and "tearing up Tethyr" shouldn't be taken to mean that the whole country was turned inside out. There weren't any radical changes to that country, and even Saradush has probably been rebuilt by now. |

Apreciated that very much :) I would have known this if I had continued with Throne of Bhaal game, but I stopped playing after BG2 Shadows of Amn (wonderful game by the way, but that is another story). I still have my hope up then, that Tethyr will do fine. Hopefully mr. Baker will answer my question over at "his" thread soon. |
