So, I have a small game - a few adventures linked, not much, set in a village that would be situated at about 50-100 miles from the taill mountains who are the natural frontiers of Amn or so. Classic dungeon crawling, all that.

Now, is there a sourcebook detailing it a bit, maybe the whole of the Sword Coast-Amn range?

Closest thing I can think of is either Lands of Intrigue or Volo's Guide to Baldur's Gate II.

The section on 'Amn' in Lands of Intrigue will prove useful, as well most sections in Volo's Guide to Baldur's Gate II.

See also Volo's Guide to the Sword Coast.

You'll find Lands of Intrigue will be. Though not Volo's Guide to the Sword Coast. 'Tis available as a PDF download from paizo.com however, for just $4US.

Volo's Guide to Baldur's Gate II has never been converted to PDF, so you won't find it at paizo.com. You'll likely need to search second-hand online RPG stores, like nobleknight.com, for a copy.
