I recall that Eric Boyd expanded somewhat on this information (in a Realmslore-y way, not stats) in a DRAGON article that never got accepted. It basically tied in the school of Ulcaster with the School of Wonder in Amn, Halaster and a few other FR tidbits. |

Ulcatser is officially on my list of super intriguing locations- alog with Ascore and the Direwood. And go figure- Volo's guide to the sword coast isn't a free download. In a nutshell, what did it have to say (if you have the time Ol' Sagey...) |
