-I'm not sure if you are aware or not, but the Aumbral Calyx is used in the adventure in Faiths and Pantheons. I hope that that's relevant. I also hope that isn't the adventure that you are running, because, obviously, it can't help you with what you're looking for!

well, yes it is a small part of the larger... (Borem anyone?) so... lets just say their comming out from the lighthouse, not going in... cuz Vanrak moonstar has his own 'private' portal to there. but like... o.k so its in the plane of shadow right? im assuming tall spires... with a drippy, shadowey, decrepid look.... probably close to right... now how many people would there be? ALL sharens or others as well? (etheral, astral) probably some inforcers from the plane of shadow... what would the area look like? like a circular platform? a small space stuck in shadowmist (like that shadow dragon-drow place chussan or whatever). I can do this myself but some advice or cool ideas would be appreciated.

So you have Realms of the Dragons? If so, I would model the Aumbral Calyx very much like the Hall of Shadows, the setting of Paul Kemp's story, "Soulbound".

-Indeed, we do. That short story should help, in as much as it should give you some ideas to work with.

FWIW, the Adumbral Calyx is featured in Shadowstorm., Book II of the Twilight War.
