| The_Shaman03-21-07, 07:29 AM | I was checking up something in Champions of Valor, and came upon a character called Vaeros Fireshield, a member of the Druids of the Tall Trees (p. 78, authority figure). I wanted to ask if there has been any changes in the errata concerning him - particularly how old he is. Because, frankly, I get the feeling that his ECL would be quite... impressive. |
| Myssa Rei03-22-07, 03:18 AM | I don't think that 'Vaeros' would be getting an errata anytime soon, as the writeup in Champions of Valor seem to represent a normal PC's 'impression' of him when they first encounter him, and not his actual power level (as evidenced in his actual stats in Dragons of Faerun). |

| The_Shaman03-25-07, 08:18 AM | Hm, I was wondering how his alignment could let him be a druid, though I always considered some of the "always" alignments a bit weird. Oh well, thanks... Looks like the Circle may indeed be a good deal more powerful than most give it credit for. |
| Myssa Rei03-25-07, 09:25 AM | I don't see why couldn't be a druid, as his alignment in Dragons of Faerun clearly states that it's (true) Neutral. Also, as noted in the Chapbook entry posted by the esteemed Mr. Boyd that there was an alignment shift involved hinted in the story about Vaeros and the druid. |
