@@minor spoilers@@

I forget if Aunrae Nasadra died in WotSQ but either way. If a mage can survive the city falling then i think the matron mother of the first house of a rather large city could too. Well my question is in my campaign some of the house survived and left Ched Nasad to go to the rebuilt Maerimydra. Well my character has left the city to adventure out and gain more power and hunt out Irae who is her arch-nemesis who killed one of her brothers. This is leaving a vacuum that i was thinking Aunrae could fill.

My question was other then stats that thanks to warlocko i have no problem finding. Looking for some info on her. Or some links where i could find more info no her. She seemed to me to be like the Yvonnel of Ched Nasad but younger. Any info would help.

-Offhand, Drizzt Do'Urden's Guide to the Underdark is probably your best bet.

Aunrae Nasadra ascended the throne of House Nasadra in 689 D.R. and was up to the events of WotSQ (and after the fall of Yvonnel Baenre) the most powerful matron and priestess known in the sources. She had a special link to her twin-brother Ildibane, the archmage of Ched Nasad. One would assume that neither fell during the events of WotSQ, given their power and resources, but that is, in the end, for the Wizards to decide. I would have them retreated to another city and embark on some planar escape.

I would also voice my doubts on the fate of Shyntlara Auvryndar, who, as a vampire, could easily have escaped in one way or another.

From the descriptions of the survivors though, none of the powerful chaps made an escape ... to date.

-The information from Underdark just says that they haven't made a return to Ched Nesad itself, and because of that, some of the more minor Houses are trying to assert themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the more powerful individuals, as mentioned above, simply got up and left to somewhere new.

Aye. Then again, Lady Penitent I does not offer that much hope ... and it is set quite some time after Ched Nasad's fall.

Well Underdark though it is one of my favorite books to look over from time to time is actually outdated now because it still has Menzo in a state of war and Gromph missing with Lolth still silent.

and if you dont mind me asking what kind of link did Aunrae and her brother have? So she was kind of like Yvonnel in the way she ran things? Hrm this helped a lot.

-Aunrae and her brother Ildibane have been bonded in the mysterious Spidersblood Pact, some kind of magical covenent we know nothing about.

And Eric Boyd has already been questioned on it, but AFAIK didn't really spent that much thought on it back then. Flair, you know. ;)

-That's exactly what it is. I asked him a while back, in the Ask-the-Author thread, and basically, his reply was (and I am paraphrasing), "You know, I don't remember where I was going with that. Well, since I don't have an answer, you can make the magical bond whatever you like".

-It does have a cool name, though. Were I to make a hypothesis, I'd say that it bestows a communal bond with the two, so that they can concentrate and "see through each other", like a wizard can with a familiar, and they can read each others surface thoughts. They would also share the sensation of pain, for dramatic effect. That's what I would make it in my campaign, anyway...
