Where is Norrin and Emory Wood? [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-12-07, 11:09 AM In Dungeon Issue #61, where is the adventure called "To Save a Forest" located. It mentions a city called Norrin, and three geographical locals named Emory Wood, Silverbark's Forest, and Summitpines. It also a named Treant named Silverbark.

Does anybody know where these locations are? I know that the adventure is post 1358, but that's about it.

Hmm, are you sure this isn't a generic adventure?

I wasn't trying to be cheeky, I haven't heard of this adventure and wanted to make sure.

Needless to say, the names aren't ringing any bells.

10-16-07, 06:40 PM Nothing shows up in the FRIA, so its possible they just 'made it up' for the adventure so you can stick it anywhere you like.

Yeah, I didn't see anything in my FRIA either. But, then again, I never was impressed with it's "search engine"... I guess I'm stuck either sticking where I want, or I'm gonna have to dig through my old 1st and 2nd ed FR stuff...

Sigh, I really wish they hadn't been arbitrary about the placement.

I agree that it sounds like you could just set the adventure anywhere.

I don't immediately recall these places being referenced in the Realmslore. I'll look through some of my sources, just to confirm.
