Ok. Haveing a look at the fact that I soon will not have a low level character, I have come up with the following. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The theory is a blacksmith, hence the hammer, who gets caught up in this adventuring thing. He is good with the hammer from his blacksmiths apprenticeship and while a little on the slow side, has the wisdon to know what works, hence the combat focus feats. Plus I really like the idea of walking up to the bad guy at high level, hitting it once and yelling how many hit points it has to the rest of the party:D

Human
Str 18
Dex 8
Con 14
Int 8
Wis 14
Cha 8

All stat buys go into strength

Fighter 1 EWP Goliath Greathammer or Maul Combat focus and P Attack
Fighter 2 Weapn Focus Appropriate Hammer
Fighter 3 Exotic Armour Prof Heavy
Fighter 4 Weapon Spec Appropriate Hammer
Fighter 5 Nothing Special
Fighter 6 Power Crit and Blindfight
Fighter 7 Nothing Special
Fighter 8 Melee Weapon Mastery
Fighter 9 Combat Vigor
Fighter 10 Greater Weapon Focus
Fighter 11 Nothing Special
Fighter 12 Armor Spec and Heavy armour Optimization
Fighter 13 Nothing Special
Fighter 14 Combat Awareness
Fighter 15 Imp Crit or Greater Weapon Spec

He ends up with DR 2\- and fast healing 2 at level 12 once he has hit something, hopefuly allowing some tactical options.

What about A Dwarf?

hehehehe, then he can use a plethora of dwarven hammers, and have more con, and even be more ugly and hairy... (and more con)

I already have dwarven fughter who is doing Red hand and he is built with the typical dwarven waraxe and high con and AC without Deepwarden levels. Otherwise I would definately be doing it that way. Plus I am feat starved for everything I want in there as is.

I think a combat cleric with the fire and creation domains would work better, especially with the wisdom, but hey....

I do like the idea though, any flavour character is OK by me ;)

"Nothing Special" is really unhelpful text

Nothing special as in base fighter level, no extra feats etc.

I think he meant it just adds clutter and makes the build a bit harder to read.

I'm not the biggest fan of power critical, what's the appeal for it for you?

Assuming you are going to be in heavy armor, Dwarf seems like a much better choice for you. Even if you go with human, most any other feat seems a better choice for you.

Likewise the heavy armor profs seem weak for feats imho. Trading a feat for +1 AC is a hard sell in my mind.

Consider that any single feat on the list could be traded in for say rage and uncanny dodge (as well as more skills and hp) at the very least. A pair of levels in exotic weaponsmaster could also do well here.
