Currently with the rebuild going on, I am debating on making changes to my Druid. His one of my first characters in LG and seeing the system in action, there are some doubts at this time of playing him any more.

Currently he is 12/10/12/15*/16/10 (*Stat bump from an adventure) with Track and SF(Conj) I had been thinking of making him an AH summoner but the changes to Wild Shape might not be an option since the lower caster level along with WS make it even less of a good build (plus the question of AH even getting WS with AH levels.). Having seen the power of CWI and the opening of access with 597, 3rd level is better served with CWI and 6th gets Natural Spell if I still want to WS. That would mean not getting augment summoning until 9th.

Any suggestions on changes? I was thinking of droping SF(Conj) but not sure what would be best for the long run. Craft Scroll is an option. Armor (Heavy) is another thought if I want to shell out the money for Ironwood Full Plate (Until I can get access to Dragonhide FP (just a wish)). If I still want to WS, bumping Con to 14 at the expense of Int is looking like an option.

Thoughts?

I really like druids being summoners. You can spontaneously cast all your summons which lets you prepare a normal list, and you get monsters faster than summon monster, although without those templates. If I was going to make him a summoner though, I'd switch my stats to this (little cheesy since I know you have a bump but oh well)

STR 8 or 10
DEX 12
CON 14
INT 11 (12)
WIS 17
CHA 10 or 8

Natural spell won't be that useful since most of your actions are going to be taken up by Summoning then Buffing/Healing, but if you really want to fly around as a little bird while raining hellfire you could pick it up at 9. I say Augment Summoning at 3rd will be more fun, but if you really want to get ahead on your GP to XP curve, CWI at 3rd is optimal.

I will have to keep that in mind. I agree that changing INT after the boost is cheesy. What are the rules on rebuilds and stat bonus that are not from levels?

When you rebuild, you re-do your starting stats and the apply any stat bumps (level ups or otherwise) afterwards.

So it's cheese, but it's legal cheese.
