| DarkGoldfish09-04-07, 04:31 AM | ok, so how do you get "dogs trained for war" -Are we talking the 25GP guard dog entry -or the 150GP riding dog entry with the "trained for war" trip attack ability? How do you get them trained "for war"? Do they come trained? do you have to do it yourself? how many time units would it use? (it seems to me like there should really be a streamlined system for it all, like: you can have 1HD of non-mount animals per 4 ranks in handle animal) |
| TWG_Prometheus09-04-07, 05:56 PM | Short version: Wizards of the Coast has refused to clarify what 'trained for war' means, and the Circle has been told that they cannot make a ruling on that issue. Result: We don't know. The long version is most assuredly coming. |
| awroe09-04-07, 06:40 PM | No one knows. The latest Dispel Confusion did state that all Riding Dogs come with the "Combat Riding" package, which means more GMs will consider them trained for war, but it's still undefined and varies across tables. AW. |
