Anyone ever seen an Elven Courtblade? [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-11-06, 06:13 PM I was going to play a character that focused in an Elven Courtblade, but the only way I've seen access to it is by being the second rank in the BK elf meta-org (I'm in the BK by the way). Does anyone know of any other consistent way to gain access or any specific Core or BK mod I might have this character play? :P

10-11-06, 06:29 PM I'm afraid that giving out info like access from mods isn't allowed. Tis considered unsporting.

In verbobonc there is an elven clan (Sherendyl) that gives access. It requires that the character be an elf, resident of verbobonc, and give up 6 TUs.

It isn't much help unless you are willing to have the character move to verbobonc of course, but that would be one way to gain access at the start of next year.

It seems like you're best off just sticking to the BK metaorg (unless that 2nd tier is a pain), however.

10-11-06, 06:36 PM Well, the problem with it was the character was going to be a halfling, so I would have to join the friend of the fellreev elf metaorg, be in it for like 6 months, request a special mission to take a level of ruathar, which qualifies me for rank 1 of the fellreev elf Meta-org, so nearly impossible.

10-12-06, 10:30 AM Go to Highfolk. With all the elves they have, you'll be tripping over courtblades in no time.

Dan's Con of the Vale is the end of this month, and Milwaukee is easy to find by train, car, bus, or plane.

10-12-06, 07:21 PM if you could get in to the elven clans you would beable to ge one. i play in highfolk and there are only 2 of the 9 elven clans that offer the elven court blade. you will have to play a couple of the highfolk mods before you get acces to one. i have only seen acces to it like 3 times form the 15 or so highfolk eventures. the elven light or thin blade are easer to get. but you would not beable to get in the elven clans unless you play an elf.

10-16-06, 03:09 PM I live in the Principality of Unified League of Elf Kickers, and I was shocked and amazed at having just played a regional mod that gave access to the Elven Thinblade, lightblade and courtblade. If you can find them in Ulek, then surely you can find them elsewhere.

Though, a bit of a schlep from Texas or Oklahoma. You're gonna have to really want that courtblade. ;)

10-17-06, 11:21 PM We here in the Shield Lands do have another elven meta-org that gives out access to all of the Elven weapons. I can't seem to get to our meta-org certs at the moment but last I remember you didn't have to be living in our region, you just have to be invited into the group and then spend some TUs in training and helpping to locate some things with them.

If your ever up in central MN a lot of elves are in it and if you prove yourself they'll probably offer up an invite.

10-19-06, 02:24 PM I think he wanted access without having to be an elf. We have a meta-org in the BK that allows it too, but again it's elves only pretty much.

10-19-06, 10:39 PM i personally need thinblade access for duel wielding with my swashbuckler twf fighter dervish correllen champion, but ive got a long time to get it. im pretty sure one of our metas gives access. as for travel to get it... im about 28 hours by plane away from milwakee so... :D
