really? wow, i probably should have known that... you know... living here and all that jazz... still, why put a capital all the way out there... it needs like, an opera house, or a giant coat-hanger... something iconic like that.

I'll be there for Pheno and all the other 'big' cons however.

:plotting: Unless... I suddenly start developing sorcerous powers. I could immediately grab a stick and go hang out in the woods for a bit. I figure each 'vanquished' raccoon would get me about 75 XP. If I applied all this real world knowledge to my budding magical talents but continued to use nothing by my 'stick of raccoon obliteration' for my 'crusade', I might be able to count as a fighter half my level for XP purposes. I figure after prevailing over about 600 of the little buggers the universal secret of teleportation should be obvious to me. :dancin:

Let's see, 9887 miles to Canberra, I'd have a max teleportation range of 1000 miles. 3-4 day travel? That's assuming I get my directions right. Lucky for me, I am of a gender that has an excellent sense of direction. Then again my gender also has a general tendency to have a one track mind. I'd try for Australia, but end up in some sleazy cocktail bar. Either that or the conflicting destinations would spike the mishap percentage and I'd end up in the middle of the Pacific. That's not good. Um... more holy war.

OK, so I stay in the woods and act very incompetent with my stick near the end. Then I should only need to prevail over 1216 of the evil things. It'll probably end up being around 1500 or more, especially if I got frustrated and just started dropping fireballs. Expecting to learn anything from that would just be silly. After the hostilities have revealed the arcane knowledge of errorless teleportation, getting to Australia should be a snap!

Hmmm... I could probably take a raccoon out in about 5 minutes, so multiplied by 1500, it'll only take about 5 days straight. Now all I'd have to do is make them line up and patiently wait for their turn. I wonder if I could speed up the process if I crowned some of them first. Stupid uppity raccoons thinking that they can do whatever they want just because they're royalty. I'll show them!

*sanity levels back to normal, well... not as abnormal anyway*
