Character Creator Program [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-14-07, 01:33 PM Is there a better Creator out there besides Heroforge? I am an old 2nd ed player getting back into the game and loking for a good character creator the heroforge was a tad confusing

11-14-07, 01:40 PM I don't mean to be rude, but heroforge is very straightforward.

1) Pick your game world and which books you want.
2) Set your ability scores based upon a pointbuy. Give your character a name and physical attributes (height eyes etc.)
3) Choose a class.
4) Allocate Skills
5) Pick feats
6) Choose armor
7) Choose weapons

And you're done...

You won't find one simpler, or more complete, program than heroforge.

It'll probably help you to have a Player's Handbook in front of you to decipher it.
