Gaelforcwynd 11-30-06, 02:19 PM	This is what I've come up with.. Lawful Good/Neutral?? Human 1st lvl Cleric of Delleb. Seeking to become Cleric 3, Church Inquisitor 1 at Character lvl 4 or as soon as the opportunity presents itself. DOMAINS Magic: Use scrolls, wands and other devices with spell completion or spell trigger activation as a Wizard of one-half your Cleric lvl (at least 1st lvl). For the purpose of using a scroll or other magic device, if you are also a Wizard, actual Wizard lvls and these effective Wizard lvls stack. Rune: Add Scribe Scroll as a bonus Feat. ABILITY SCORES STR: 12 (+1) DEX: 12 (+1) CON: 14 (+2) INT: 10 (0) WIS: 16 (+3) CHA: 10 (0) OTHER HP: 10 AC: 16 (Scale Mail, Light Wooden Shield) TOUCH: 11 FLAT-FOOTED: 15 SPEED: 20 (30 with just armour, shield and weapon) INITIATIVE: 1 BASE ATTACK BONUS: 0 (Morningstar) GRAPPLE: 1 SAVING THROWS FORT: 4 REF: 1 WILL: 5 SKILLS Concentration: 4 @ 1st lvl, 4 @ 2nd lvl, 4 @ 3rd lvl. Max @ 4th lvl and above. Heal: Ad surplus Ranks here when Skill Points become available. Knowledge (Arcana): 0 @ 1st lvl, 2 @ 2nd lvl, 5 @ 3rd lvl (+2 Spellcraft). Knowledge (Religion): 4 @ 1st lvl, 5 @ 2nd lvl (+2 turn checks), 5 @ 3rd lvl. Spellcraft: 4 @ 1st lvl, 4 @ 2nd lvl, 4 @ 3rd lvl. Max @ 4th lvl and above. The Church Inquisitor PrC grants 4 Skill Points/lvl FEATS Scribe Scroll Skill Focus: Concentration Extend/Silent/Still Spell ??? (what do you think?) So have I missed anything? All advice and feedback welcome.
Britt 11-30-06, 02:57 PM	If you're wanting access at that early of a level, you're going to have to get a Special Mission, which may or may not be available from your Triad. The chance of finding access to it within your first few levels is close to nil.
retro 11-30-06, 07:54 PM	The Perrenland special mission PERSM6-04 - To Bite the Hand that Feeds is listed on the perrenland scenarios page at http://perrenland.rpga-apac.com/scenarios/perrenland-current.php. It is described as giving access to the Church Inquisitor prestige class, but I'm not certain whether that access is only for followers of the Old Kerk deities. You may want to check. Alternatively, you may just have to cross your fingers and hope- I've played various adventures that grant access to Church Inquisitor, but access is usually only for followers of a particular god.
Sieylianna 12-01-06, 08:03 AM	Trying to get Church Inquisitor for an obscure deity is going to be very difficult. Your odds are best if you can find a region where Delleb is one of the primary deities (I'm not aware of any). Finding corruption in an organized church is dependent on there being an organized church. I suspect you're going to have problems. Ed
UMiskatonic 12-01-06, 10:16 AM	If you're more attracted to church inquisitor than to Delleb, then there are a number of regions that offer access through meta-orgs. I'm not sure if you can join from your location, but check Verbobonc, Veluna, and Furyondy, and the churches of St. Cuthbert, Rao, and Heironeous.
