If it was a weapon enhancement meant to tool undead it was on the AR under Items Found (aka craftable). The problem is my cleric is tricked out for turning and was looking at taking Quicken turning at 12th (the last level he'll most likely see, but hey why not plan). I see him casting a consecrate (assuming he hasn't already) and then quicken turn to really mop up on the undead. But on the flip side, he could always carry around this arsenal of weapons to hand out (a quiver of Ehlonna was on there as well and he already has CWI) for the rest of the party to help. Also there is the problem of slowing down advancement too much in the face of the end of LG next year. So what to do? CMA&A or Quicken turing? Or, if you should continue to optimize what you already do? Do you have any feats that you're willing to retrain? If, not, I'd say to go with Quicken Turning. If you plan to use the weapons yourself or to make other weapons and armor that you'd use, then CMA&A becomes a more attractive choice. |

If you think that you'd be able to make use of crafted weapons on a regular basis yourself, then I'd take Craft Magic Arms and Armor. If you're a caster Cleric, take the Quicken Turning and consider purchasing a +1 weapon with a cheap undead-fighting enhancement down the line at full price. Edit: On the other hand...if you're a turning Cleric, is investing your character further into undead hunting even relevant? |
