Since my last build the two weapon fighter wasnt very well recieved and I am starting a new character I have decided to try a different method.
Mountain Dwarf
Str:16 Dex:14 Con:16 Int:14 Wis:8Cha:6
Monk 1:Improved grapple, Combat expertise
Monk 2: Comabt Reflexes
Fighter 1: dodge, Improved Trip
Fighter 2: Karmic Strike
Fighter 3:
Fighter 4:Combat Acrobat , Mobility
Fighter 5:
Fighter 6: Elusive target
Fighter 7: Improved disarm
Fighter 8: Power Attack
fighter 9:
fighter 10: Improved Bull Rush, Shock trooper
Fighter 11:
Fighter 12:Melee Evasion
Knight 1: Defensive Sweep

I completely redid the build takingthe advice prescribed by mommy was an orc..Is this ok?

Elusive Target isn't a Fighter bonus feat. You've got 2 extra points for stats. Do you mean Flail or Heavy Flail.

I'd think about doing it one of two different ways:
Set things up so you get Elusive Target at 6th
Set things up so you get Melee Weapon Mastery at 8th

At the moment, you're putting off both - it is generally better to get to your goal, then start another one, than have two feat chains only partially completed like that.

Ok well what if i take elusive target at 6th with karmic strike( or is that not a fighter bonus feat either( im at work now without books) and take weapon focus at 8th and weapon specialization at9th and melee weapon mastery at 10?

Or should i forget about the weapon focus feats since im not focusing on damage so much as battlefield control stuff..i dont know I am torn.

Also for the moment I am talking about a flail so ican use a tower shield with it. If i decide to drop the weapon focus line ill probably switch to heavy flail and take a level of barabarian and throw in extra rage somewhere.

Trippers benefit enormously from Reach weapon + Combat Reflexes.

You want these early too because trippling becomes much harder later (more huge+ monsters)

I don't really have a feat to spare on spiked chain and the Ranseur is also two-handed. I want to Tower shield for the higher AC. I mean unless I dont tank it up anymore but thatll call for changing the build a bit

I'd also really suggest 2 levels of Monk - Combat Acrobat(PHBII) is a must-have feat for a tripper, somewhere around 8th-10th. You won't want a Tower Shield at that point, because it will destroy your balance check. And you need ranks in Balance and Tumble from somewhere.

The great thing about Combat Acrobat is that you make a DC 20 check and you won't fall prone if you fail to trip someone and they trip you back. When you know you're not hitting something big anyway, you can try to trip them.

Where should I put those two levels of monk? and whatabout elusive target? will this put me out of elusive target for longer also?

I am going ot edit the build on top? let me know what you think.

I love towershields...my tank uses one in a pinch...but for a tumbling character....tower shields have a -10 armor check penalty. Might hurt your tumbling a bit.
