Hey, I have a human enchanter in play and I'm looking to plan out my feat choices. Here's where I am so far:

1 Ench MMSF, Rapid Spell, Scribe Scroll
2 Ench
3 Ench CWI
4 Ench
5 Ench Spell Focus
6 Ench Chain Spell
7 Ench retrain Rapid Spell out for Fey Heritage
8 Ench
9 Ench Fey Skin, retrain Spell Focus to Fey Power
10 Ench Quicken Spell
11 Fate
12 Fate Spell Focus
13 Archmage
14 Archmage
15 Archmage: Quicken Spell Like Ability: Chain Tasha's Hideous Laughter

The weird Archmage levels at the end are to trade two 5 and one 8 slot for 8 Quickened Chained Tashas per day, to spam at every opportunity. Chain MMSF in the high levels will probably go to Greater Heroisms or attack spells.

Any advice?

1) What do you see the fey feats doing for you? If you like the bonuses vs. enchantments and DR, that's great; if you're in it for the DC boost I'd skip them and go with greater spell focus.

2) Achmage requires skill focus (spellcraft) and spell focus in two different schools.

3) The quicken spell-like ability only works three times a day, though you could skip the chaining on the first two helpings and just do a single quickened Tasha's.

4) I'm not sure if the benefits of spell focus and fey power apply to spell-like abilities - they might, I'm not sure.

5) Consider Improved Initiative; if you can dominate a guy before the barbarian crashes into him, you're sitting pretty.

6) If you do go for the achmage, consider picking up another MMSF, enchantments aren't the only things you might want to quicken/chain.

2) Achmage requires skill focus (spellcraft) and spell focus in two different schools.

Also, Archmage requires the ability to cast 7th level spells, which means you cannot take it until Level 14.

Also, you need spell focus in two schools, whereas you only have it in one (since you're retraining out of it at 9th)...

So, my advice on that point would be to not take the class until you legally can :D

You can't retrain out Rapid Spell without first getting rid of MMSF,

Metamagic School Focus doesn't require a metamagic feat.

Might want a look at Unsettling Enchantment (CM) if you want to toss an additional effect on them and it will make it so you do something even if they do save.

With Archmage a wash, I suppose I would just take Fatespinner to 4, and GSF at 15.

Spell Focus isn't a valid wizard bonus feat.

Right. Have to swap it and Chain Spell around, then.
