| ToddMorgan07-26-07, 12:37 PM | Hey everyone! With Greyhawk Ruins coming up, I was planning on playing an arcane class I haven't played with yet. I picked Warmage for the damage (don't worry, also playing with a wizard, so I won't be the only arcanist) and I am having trouble with the stats. At first I was thinking: Str: 12 - 2 = 10 Dex:12 + 2 = 14 Con: 14 - 2 = 12 Int: 14 + 2 = 16 Wis: 8 Cha: 15 Then I was thinking that really, one extra point of damage isn't that great up in the higher levels, where a higher Cha and Wis would help. So then: Str: 12-2=10 Dex: 12+2=14 Con: 14-2=12 Int: 12+2=14 Wis: 10 Cha: 16 I think I might be leaning towards the second build just because I have wanted to play a character with no negatives for awhile (it always seems to elude me). There won't be any encumberence due to armor, decent skill points for a caster, decent saves (fort is so-so). What do you think? |
