After reading the Mystic Theurge , arcane hierophant and Ultimate Magus i got to think ... isit just me or the Mystic Theurge is not on par ? ( less so with the Ultimate Magus but still ) am i completely loco ? And if you have other classes like that plz tell me .

No, you're not loco.

The other 2 classes are much better, but also harder to get into if I recall correctly.

Also note, the Fochlucan Lyrist falls into the same category of classes.

In straight D&D theurge is not useless as traditionally you would multiclass with both mystic theurge and arcane heirophant to get level 9 spells by level 20 in both caster classes.

In LG you do not run out of heirophant levels so heirophant is always a better choice.

Not so much. wiz3/druid3/MT2/AH7 gives best possible dual casting for druid+wizard. You could do Wiz3/druid4 or wiz4/druid3, straight into arcane hierophant, but then you sacrifice one more caster level on either side...

Isint arcane heirophant only for Wizard or sorcerer with Druid ( or ranger but really whats the point ? ) ?
