fghj171983 07-24-07, 11:21 AM	I have been thinking about trying to use the knight class to make an effective battlefield controller. Here is the basic idea though I am open to suggestions and any input you guys may have. Human - LN Str 16 Dex 14 Con 14 Int 8 Wis 14 Cha 8 1 Knight - EWP spiked chain, Wep Focus spiked chain 2 Fighter - Combat Reflexes 3 Fighter - Power Attack True Believer 4 Knight - str +1 5 Knight - Getting bulwark of defense 6 Pious Templar - Close Quarters Fighting, gaining Mettle 7 Exotic Weapon Master - gaining flurry of strikes 8 PT - str +1 9 PT - Wep Spec spiked chain, Craft Wonderous item? (can make belt, pearls, cloak of cha, vest of resistance not sure if its worth it though) 10 PT - Melee Wep Mastery piercing 11 - 15??? Not sure how to finish it off I could go more Pious Templar, I could take another exotic weapon master for attacks of opportunity through cover, or also knight 4 for medium armor mastery which would be nice with mithril fullplate. Let me know what you guys think.

boogahwoof 07-24-07, 08:17 PM	Are you not going for trip? I know its against a knights code to hit a unarmed person it doesnt say anything about a tripped enemy.

The OP probably doesn't want to spend 5 points on the prerequisite intelligence. P.S. The knight's code has no restriction against hitting an unarmed opponent.
JJeff 07-24-07, 11:08 PM	Personally, I feel a reduction of Str and dumping into Cha (till it is a least positive) would help the Challenges and helping to pull enemies towards you instead of around you and past you. Or at least that's what my Knight battlefield control is gonna do.
boogahwoof 07-25-07, 04:09 PM	I also always thought a battlefield knight would do good from a high cha and a level dip intp marshall for the art of war aura, if your going to be a tripper i mean. Also you are correct i was confusing being down with being flat footed under the knights code
