In an upcoming convention there will be a few LG games being held and I have a character concept here to try out. Now I did post this on the D&D boards but I think I might get more help here (feats, better level composition, etc.). Here is what I got so far to hopefully spark some ideas:

Race: Human (Suel)

Level Composition: Favored Soul (or Cleric) of Bahamut 4 / Fighter 2 / Pious Templar of Bahamut 10

Story: Kyros was choosen by Bahamut to build a temple dedicated to the dragon god to act as a shelter and a place to train other followers of the Platinum Dragon to better oppose his sister's minions. This guy would be your typcial holy warrior, so he's not going to be the type to heal everyone during combat, but afterwards he would if he hasn't run out of resources.

Now I am not sure about taking the class sub for Favored Soul presented in Dragon Magic, but it depends on what I hear here since in the current rule book nothing from that book is open yet.

Also are Dragonborn allowed in LG, because this is pretty much how Kyros will act as even if he must stay as a human.

The Pious Templar / Paladin mix is going to be tough on your stats. If you do Cleric 3 / Fighter 4 / Pious Templar you can forego the heavy Charisma investment, and you pick up some good Fighter feats (so you can do the Combat Focus tree, maybe?)

Dragonborn are not an open race, and the Favored Soul Sub from Dragon Magic is also not open.

Alright I will dump Paladin for Fighter (though I do hate losing those good saves). I guess then I could take some those Combat feats from PHB2.

You could also choose to emphasize Charisma as well. Cleric 1 gives turning attempts -> Divine Might. A Half-Elf Cleric 1/Fighter 2/Paladin 2/Outcast Champion 2/Pious Templar 8 build has a lot going for it.
