01-03-08, 12:12 AM How do cohort mechanics work in LG? Do they gain their share of exp and gold or do they forfeit both. Do they share $$$ with their leader? Can they take craft feats?

My friend is a sorceror with limited spell selection, so I was thinking maybe he could get leadership, get a crafter bot cohort.

All rules regarding cohorts can be found in the LGCS. To answer your immediate questions, they can't take craft feats, they have their own XP and gold which is tracked separately from their leaders. They get their own AR's, but always get half XP and gold. They use the NPC equipment value from the DMG to determine starting gold, and they can never go above the limit for their level.
