Gaelforcwynd 02-21-07, 09:30 AM	If you are a Neutral Cleric who is required to maintain the balance, how do you handle spells like Summon Monster in relation to the summoned monster's alignment? Can you only choose a monster with the Neutrality axis in its alignment descriptor? Would you need to alternate between Law/Evil, Choas/Good in order to avoid an alignment infringement penalty? How does this work?

How does this work? If you are Neutral Neutral, then you have no restrictions on the casting of any alignment based spells, as no alignment specifically opposes your own. Role play wise, it might make sense to alternate what you are summoning however.
bhale187 02-21-07, 01:20 PM	I assume you are refering to Kelanen. I see Kelanen as a maintainer of balance, and as such you may find the need to do something a little evil or particularly good (also choatic or lawful) now and again in order to balance the 4 dooms during any given situation.
