| Ki Ryn10-15-06, 04:02 PM | I just finished a my first intro adventures (in Verbobonc) and am looking at joining the Meldarin Clan. This an organization that you can't ever leave, and it has the requirement that I may not be a member of any noble or military meta-org. How serious of a limitation is that? I've read through the Verbonoc organizations and this clan is a good fit for my character while none of the military or noble organizations really work with the concept. But (since I know next to nothing about how things go in Living Greyhawk) I'm leary of signing up for the first good thing I see when it's not possible to change my mind later on. Should I join the clan? |

In the case of Verbobonc (my region, as well), it's at: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/Verbobonc/ |

You might have a different opinion than a member of a noble house. That's cool. Do some role-playing, and hash out a compromise. |

We've really tried to ratchet up the idea that choices (and not the ability to do damage) are what really matter in LG. I'm sure other regions are doing something similar. Ki-Ryn - definitely feel free to post any questions on the Verbobonc Yahoo discussion group. Rob Silva (our POC) is pretty good at responding, and I've been know to occasionally respond as well. For reference, the Triad has made the recommendation that you have one Verbobonc regional character and that you play that character in all the Verbobonc regional adventures. The current plot arc (beginning with VER6-01: Discontent of our Winter) is designed to be one continuous story that will be best experienced if the same character plays all of our regional adventures in order. It's not a requirement, howver. But it is a strong recommendation. Vernon L. Vincent Verbobonc Triad |
