1: Poor. There is currently no way to take a thrall from one mod to the next.
2: Any class that could use a 1 level dip. As for 'why', see #1.

If you want to take more than one level of mindbender, go for it, but know that mindbender is not a 'power' class.

08-08-07, 04:28 AM Actually, Bard or Beguiler will work better, because the skill requirements are hard to get as a sorceror.

One level is great, and possibly better for bards, who have a lot of language based abilities, and therefore get more use out of the telepathy.

Both of these are also classes that can be stealthy, and getting the scouting report in real time is also a big perk.
