Now that the Bardic Knack ACF is open, you could do a very decent jack-of-all trades bard with something like– Grey Elf Str 8 Dex 14 Con 12 Int 16 Wis 8 Cha 16 1 Bard (Bardic Knack ACF): Elf Dilettante 2 Bard 3 Bard: Lucky Start 4 Bard 5 Bard 6 Bard: Make Your Own Luck 7 Bard 8 Bard 9 Bard: Survivor's Luck 10 Bard 11 Bard 12 Bard: Tempting Fate 13 Bard 14 Bard 15 Bard: Unbelievable Luck A pretty simple support bard build, really–you'd have to choose wisely in combat, but a Bard 15's always got options. But out of combat you can make any skill check, even ones you normally couldn't make untrained, and with the Luck rerolls and swift Bard spells you have a good chance of making quite a few DCs. Plus if you enroll in the Thieves' Guild you can get '+2 to all Rogue class skills'–which, for a character than can make skill checks with any Rogue class skill, is a lot of +2s!
