so i finally got a bit more gold to spend on my cleric and i am having a hard time trying to decide on a decent armor bonus to give him.

some background,

he is currently cleric 10/ battlesmith 5
pretty much all his misc slots are full with decent gear and he spends alot of time as a "tank/battlecleric" has both shield ward and agile shield fighter.

current weapon is
-- dwarven crafted adamantine holy warhammer of defending +5

shield is
-- heavy adamantine dwarven crafted shield +5 of bashing and arrow catching

armor is
-- dwarven crafted adamantine full plate +5 of greater resistance to fire and cold

i am looking for a bonus to either my armor or my shield , my caster level is 25 for making items. my shield can handle 1 more "plus" and my full plate can handle 3 more "pluses". the problem is i cant find anythign really decent for for them that does not have insane spell reqs for enchantment.

any help???

Did they ever rule whether multiple Defending weapons stacked?

(assuming they are all properly being 'wielded', of course)

Armor and shield spikes can be enchanted as a weapons with Defending as well, if so. And it's technically a seperate 'track' as the armor enhancements, so no worries about running against the +10 limit.

Plus, as pointed out in another thread, Shield Spikes technically stack with the Bashing enhancement for a net damage die increase of three size adjustments.

Ah, you're not asking about AC, you're asking about what enhancements to put on the armor and shield.

What you need is fortification. Unfortunately, you can't craft it. If you have a favor to add it to the shield, I might just suck up the extra gold cost and have it done.

Alternatively, just keep piling on the energy resistances.

Acid resistance is particularly good, because it prevents the armor itself from taking damage. Good for being swallowed whole and the like.
