Protection from Evil - Continuous? [Archive] - Wizards Community

No open way, but Magic Circle against evil is 10 min/level, so extended and at high level it's a good chunk of a day. There have also been a handful of special items given access to in certain mods that do grant continuous protection from evil, but you will have to find those mods yourself.

08-31-07, 08:47 PM A fourth level Skull Clan Hunter is under a constant Protection from Evil. The PrC isn't open unfortunately. My rogue got access through a BK meta-org of which several grant access. All require BK residency.

There is also a Horn of Goodness/Evil which will grant it's blower a Protection from Evil for one hour usable once per day. Of course you can get more then one and blow them on the hour every hour.

09-01-07, 11:57 PM Unicorn mount for lvl 6 paladins & above, continuous circle of prot. against evil.

Personally I think paladins should get this as a class ability anyways but, alas, we'll have to wait til 4e for buffs ;p

Horn of Goodness lasts for one hour once per day. You could buy several of them.

I don't think Lantern Archon is open access as an Improved Familiar. Which book is it in?

09-13-07, 08:06 PM I got something kind of close on an AR.

Banner of Law, gives prot chaos for (nonchaotic) owner and any nonchaotic allies who can see the banner within 30'. Banner has to be on a polearm or stick and weilded for this to work, so best on reach weapon-monkey.

Stops working if they're blinded, or the item stops being weilded, so while good for ambush resistance and immune to most dispel effects, it has its own weaknesses.
