Now that the door has opened for these feats I was wondering if anyone has considered them for their arcane caster?

The Heritage Feats seem interesting from a flavor standpoint and if you are trying to specialize in one type of school/spell. Draconic Breath is nice in a pinch if you need some direct damage that isn't stopped by SR. Of course given that there are spells already that bypass SR is it worth having your sorcerer give up one of his precious feats?

The Reserve Feats almost seem to be a bow to the abilities of the Dragonfire Adept or Warlock classes. Save a slot and have a popgun all day long. Since wizards can take these they aren't as feat-hungry as the sorcerer, I'm thinking one or two are definitely worth considering.

At first level though the feat Fiery Burst really caught my attention. At level 1, better damage and range than Burning Hands, unlimited use so long as you have a fire spell memorized.

Any thoughts? Which ones do you like?

Sorry, but every single reserve feat requires that you be able to cast AT LEAST 2nd level spells, so no 1st level reserve for you. Third level at the earliest for unlimited pop. As far as heritage feats, Infernal Sorcerer Howl is arguably better than Draconic Breath, same damage but cone of sonic instead of the more commonly resisted energy types...

It's going to be awhile, but as soon as I can power it I'll pick up minor shapeshift. I'm not sure I'll be using my swift actions for much else, so it'll almost be like fast healing. I'm a little suprised it made it in. Then again, by the time I get to it, it'll either be revealed for the powerhouse it is and removed or I'll be shown wrong...

You are correct, I really need to sleep more instead of posting all day. Still not a bad option for only one feat.

Yeah I noticed that Sorc Howl feat. I'm not just not a fan of PB arcane squishy tactics. In a pinch though, if your sorceror can spare 2 feats for it...certainly encourages more ppl to play humans.
