I just read ( on the site i dont have the book )the spellwarp sniper and if i'm corect ( Since it gets a sudden strike with rays ) its a "shortcut" to the Arcane trixter Prestige class with only 1 Caster lvl penalty . Am i right or way off ?

I would say no because Sudden Strike is not Sneak Attack, unless those are considered equivalent for prestige class requirements. Unseen Seer, however, is.

Sudden Strike and Sneak Attack are considered to be the same for qualifying for feats, prestige classes and similar options that require a minimum number of sneak attack damage.

Except,

SWS gets Sudden Ray strike, which is not Sudden strike or Sneak attack...
so it is not explicit that it does count.

I'd say that it's no good.
It's certainly not something I'd risk actually trying in LG because you are bound to find a judge that says "no" at some point.

take Unseen Seer like the rest of us :P

I've posted a question asking about this in the LG questions/answers thread.

We'll have an answer soon.

I'm betting yes, because Sudden Raystrike is a limited form of Sudden Strike. Which means that you have a limited form of sudden strike. There's nothing gamebreaking about letting a narrow form of sudden strike qualify in place of sudden strike or sneak attack.

I e-mailed customer service and they said that "Sudden Raystrike" and an Invisible Blade's "Dagger Sneak Attack" are "Different abilities which stack with Sneak Attack or Sudden Strike".

So, I'll be dipping into Unseen Seer at some point to get my rogue wizard spellwarp sniper into arcane trickster. Of course, that might mean that US won't work because you gain "damage bonus" to sneak attack, not actual sneak attack.

The Custserv answer stated that DMs could make house rules if the wanted.

What a load.

PS: I bet if three other people ask the same question, they'll get three different answers.
