Hey all I currently have a 6th level half-orc fighter
starting stats: str17,dex13,con14,int13,wis8,cha7

He is a militeristic half-orc living in the pale. He joined the pale army, and is a loyal follower of pholtus. There is a prejudice in the pale against non-humans, and he is working hard to prove himself in the miltary etc. So it was natural for me to take out cast champion. Here are my current feats:
weapon focus/weapon spec (heavy flail), combat expertise, improved trip, improved disarm, improved unarmed, and improved grapple.
current stats with gloves of str +2. Str 20, dex13, con14,int13,wis8,cha7
I have a vest of resistance +2, +1 heavy flail. +1 full plate.

Here's what I was thinking of doing with him.
fighter6/outcast champion5/barbarian4
1 ftr1 combat expertise, weapon focus
2 ftr2 improved trip
3 ftr3 improved disarm
4 ftr3 weapon spec
5 ftr5
6 ftr6 improved unarmed/grapple
7 out1
8 out2
9 out3 power attack
10 bar1 rage 1/day
11 out4
12 out5 melee weapon mastery Bludgeniong (PHB2)
13 bar2 uncanny dodge
14 bar3 trap sense+1
15 bar4 rage/2day, crushing strike(phb2)

Any recommendations? Suggestions? Any idea for other prestige classes or equipment would also be great.

Thanks in advance.

Well...definately subobtimal....though not completely useless. Ultimately qualifies as light infantry. OUtcast Champion not so great since it is partially CHA dependant, and it's a shame you've wasted so many feats on the Improved (Whatever)...Even worse that you pumped INT to do it as a half orc...

I always counted the character as a tank. I picked half-orc for flare. At level 6 I have a +13/+8 attack roll with 1d10+10 points of damage. I have a trip modifer of +9 without additional buffs, and a disarm check of +23. I've disarmed giants of their weapons. My grapple is +15, good enough to easily pinn humaniods, or esscape from creatures that grapple, actually I just pin them. I can (with a tower shield) put my AC up to 31, 33 with a potion of protection from evil. The only outcast champion ability that depends upon charisma is the avenging strikes/per day as charisma modifer 1 minium. I'll still give a +1 / out cast level bonus to will saves all around.

The biggest negative of my character is that it is highly dependant upon die rolls. But if they come through, the combat is good as over. For example, I've knocked a dragon out of the air with a trip attack. I was buffed by the party wizards.

Daverius,

No one is suggesting that your character is unplayable, or worthless. In fact, I bet the opposite is true. He sounds like a lot of fun.

However, there are people on this board who can squeeze 10-20% more out of a similar build. Compared to those people, you are a bit lacking. Is that a problem for you? Probably not. But if you are ASKING for suggestions, be ready to hear things like:

Ftr4/Monk 2 gives you one additional feat, and evasion, and better saves, and +4 skill points, and only costs 2 hit points and +1 BAB.

Ftr2/Monk 6 gives feats similar to Ftr 8, but you can get improved trip without a 13 Int, which allows more Str and Con.

Weapon Focus/Weapon Specialization improve your damage output, but Power Attack/Cleave improves it far more.

Outcast Champion/Marshal/Fighter would make more efficient use of a medium-high Charisma.

Originally I was going to go straight fighter and pick up a ton of tactical tricks, but by level 6 I was begining to notice that the will save was hurting me a bunch. I did not want to go monk, because I didn't want to loose the BAB progression + it would have been a 20% xp hit. I figured outcast champion would help alot with the will saves, plus be beneifical to the group since I share the bonus with them. I'm at a loss at what feats I should take at level 12, and 15. I figured power attack is a must at level 9.

Thanks in advance.

For Will saves, Hexblade could work as a dip. No BAB hit, and if you stick with it for 3 levels, you get mettle. Not a bad deal, especially if you don't want to blow a feat on True Believer.
