| Shieldhart9112-10-06, 05:09 AM | I was considering playing a Badlands Dwarf or an Asherati before the Bright Sands modules are concluded- but I only have about one more Bright Sands module to play. This limits my decision quite well, and if I understood correctly: the Badlands Dwarves and/or the Asheratis must have the bright lands as their home regions. Following the end of the year 6 modules (at the end of '07), are those characters retired for some reason? Or can they just switch regions on Year 8? More importantly, can they just switch spots at the end of the year (say he plays a game on December 29th: Gateway to Bright Sands) and then just switches to Furyondy. Allowed or no? Sorry if the question is botched. It IS 5:08 AM ;) |

Your Bright Sands character can change their home region to some other allowed region such as Furyondy. Bright Sands characters may also change their home region back to Bright Sands in the future. |

That's to use the fastplay Badlands Dwarf Rogue or Scablands Half-orc Barbarian. They can be used in any Blight on Bright Sands module - so you can even start them next year in the year six BoBS modules - but have to have a Bright Sands module as their first module. They can then be played in any other module, and advance normally. (see p2 of the BoBS Sourcebook) I've not studied them, but have heard they've not been built to be optimised in any way. However it is your only option if you've already played Blood on Bright Sands, or if you can't get to play that module this month. |
