| Arvagor11-03-06, 08:04 PM | Anyone else out there have experience with this feat, i.e have taken it for their PC(s)? I have access, and I'm trying to decide what feat to take for my Druid 3. Yes, I know all about the standard, "You take Craft Wondrous Item at 3rd, so you can take Natural Spell at 6th", but I don't plan on taking Natural Spell at all. The tattoos you create are functionally equivalent to potions -- cost the same to craft, no greater than 3rd level spells, the difference being they don't provoke when activated. On its face value, they seem like a way to keep access to magic while wildshaped -- it's not techincally an item (is it?), so it shouldn't meld when you wild shape (although, I'm sure there would be variation on that point as well). Thoughts? |
| Lomiat11-04-06, 09:09 AM | Since LG won't let you craft them onto other PCs, they're not quite as good as potions. It's nice that they don't provoke, but you can't choose to drop your Cure Light tattoo to stabilize your buddy. |
