what items are most important to a cleric?

(12 Str,12Dex,14Con,8Int,17Wiz,12Cha 5th level pelor sun, strength)

semi combat high leveled cleric that HATES the guts of undead ( vaporized 9 HD skeleton knights at level 3 rolling up a 20 and sun domained it who nearly droped his best buddy that he adventured since level 1 with)

he wants decent AC and currently his major investments are

+1 full plate
+1 heavy sheild
+1 cloke of resistance
PoP 1
Ephod of athority (why i dont got a vest)
+1 ring of deflection (maby a bad purchase but i hatre waisting time casting SoF)

those are all the important items he has, he does not have any and doesnt intend to buy and consumeables save 2 potions of cure light to get me up if i go down

i want (as you can see) a decent AC and surviveablity (the cloke of resistance) and the ability to destroy any undead i see (hence my stuff compleatly geared to RSoP my skills are heal 5, concentration 3 ,realigion 8)

i think that a HIGH AC is very needed because the less hits that a cleric takes the fewer rounds i got to spell saving myself

First of all, PLEASE get the latest version of Firefox. It has a spell checker.

Secondly, I have already posted what you should get in your OTHER thread on the same topic.

Thirdly: Check this thread out, it may have what you are looking for.

http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=794735&highlight=what+to+buy+with+first+few+ARs

It has a LOT of information that is great to know. I suggest you read through it THOROUGHLY.

Oh, and PLEASE fix up your signature. One should NEVER quote incorrectly, let alone misspell the words involved, or who said it.

The correct reference is:

"Who's the more foolish? The fool or the fool who follows him?"

- Obi-Wan Kenobi (Correct spelling)

Sorry, but that has been bugging me for a while. And I am grumpy today.

I'd pawn the Cloak of Resistance and replace it with a Vest of Resistance.

You'll want a +2 or +4 Wisdom amulet, a +2 or +4 Charisma cloak (+2'll do if you don't have any Cha-based skills), a +4 Strength belt (if you can afford it) and an Ioun Stone of Con, if you can find one. You could take a Belt of Dwarvenkind instead of a Str belt, if you prefer casting to melee.

Planning to replace your fullplate with mithril fullplate may be wise. Adamantine heavy plate is another option, though your mobility would be lowww. You should get a +1 weapon, and a silver weapon, and a cold iron weapon, and an adamantine weapon if you can get one. You should get a +1 bow and a selection of bolts/arrows of different types to use with it. You should have a variety of potions of different kinds, and maybe some scrolls of spells you don't prepare often but absolutely need in rare situations. Boots of Speed are good for clerics. Something that lets you fly is good. You might consider replacing your large shield with a hide shield.

If you want to last longer in combat, stay out of melee longer. You have to balance your offense with what you predict you'll need for defense. If you'll have to be healing the BDF every turn, stay out of melee.

Ioun Stone of Con +2 (Pale Blue)
Gal-Ralan +2 (Essentially, Bracers of Resistance with a painful twist)
+1 Mithral Heavy Shield (Have access to Animated)
Adamantine Morningstar (for Constructs, willing to loan it to fighters)
+1 Composite Longbow
MM Rod of Extend, Lesser
PoP 1 (3)
PoP 2 (2)
Everburning Lantern and Torch
Wands of CLW
Potions of CLW, CMW
Various Alchemicals

Things on Wish List (already have access, just need cash):

Glamered Gloves of Dexterity +2

Almost everything goes to the following:

Help my Saves
Couple of Weapons (Not as big of a deal anymore)
