| control freak06-20-07, 09:05 PM | my rogue recently died and raised and has decided to retrain improved initative to get the feat for montebank i thought that his slip slide makes up for the loss of 2 sneak attack dice, as well as the bluff being some what decent but i need to know what feats i should take, heres what i got so far 1-4 rogue whepon finess, imp initiative 12 19 12 14 10 8 i need to figure out what to take at 6th level when i get montebank, as i dont lose any sneak attack damage till 9th and even then it just goes on even levels. does any one else have oppinions on this? |
| jstorrie06-20-07, 09:33 PM | Mountebank works fairly well with any class that gives you free feints–Beguiler, Scarlet Corsair, Invisible Blade. I'm not sure how well you could fit those in your build at this point, though–SC would probably be the easiest. Don't suppose you can get access somehow? You could do Rogue 4 / Swashbuckler 1 / Mountebank 2 / Scarlet Corsair 3 / Mountebank to retirement. Just retrain your Weapon Finesse to something else (Imp Initiative, Telling Blow, etc.) at 5. You wouldn't be a super high damager, but you'd certainly have plenty of tricks. |

Requires AR access and is considered quite rare in some regions. (Yay me for getting it) It is in Stormwrack. |
