These are a few throwaway builds I'll likely not use. They're on the weirder side for me, which is saying a lot...

Half-Orc
Str 17, Dex 10, Con 14, Int 12, Wis 14, Cha 6
Swashbuckler 1/Barbarian 1/Cleric 2/Fighter 2/Warpriest 9

Basic idea is someone who can cast Mass Heal in LG, while still being effective. The Swashbuckler level is mainly because there's no other way to get Sense Motive/Diplomacy high enough without a level in Paladin. Likely picks Xan Yae for WF: Falchion and Mind domain - yes, this Half-Orc is quite likely the party face...or Kord for Luck/Str.

---------

Human(who happens to look exactly like a Green Hag, minus the green skin tone and claws - once warshaper kicks in, she has the antlers from the Druid in PHB)
Human
Str 14, Dex 10, Con 14, Int 14, Wis 14, Cha 10
(I'd optimize the stats more, but there doesn't
seem to be much point to it)

1: Barbarian 1: Power Attack, Alertness
2: Druid 1
3: Druid 2: Extra Rage
4: Druid 3: Wis 15
5: Druid 4
6: Druid 5: Endurance
7: MoMF 1
8: MoMF 2: Troll: Wis 16
9: MoMF 3: Lion's Pounce: Annis Hag
10: MoMF 4: Green Hag(Str 19, Dex 12, Con 12)
11: Warshaper 1
12: Warshaper 2: ?(Str 23, Dex 12, Con 16)
13: Warshaper 3: Reach!
14: Warshaper 4
15: ?

----------

Super Charisma Mutt

Half-Elf Rogue 3/Fighter 2/Marshal 1/Paladin 2/Outcast Champ 5/Wildrunner 2
Str 14, Dex 10, Con 14, Int 14, Wis 8, Cha 15

1: Rogue 1: Combat Expertise
2: Fighter 1: Improved Trip
3: Marshal 1: Skill Focus(Diplomacy), Power Attack, Art of War
4: Paladin 1: Cha 16
5: Paladin 2
6: Outcast Champion 1: Endurance
7: Outcast Champion 2
8: Outcast Champion 3: Cha 17
9: Wildrunner 1: Staggering Strike
10: Wildrunner 2
11: Fighter 2: Combat Reflexes
12: Outcast Champion 4: Quickdraw: Cha 18
13: Rogue 2
14: Outcast Champion 5
15: Rogue 3: ?

While he does only have a +13 BAB and he starts off slowly, he's got
some pretty interesting extras going on:
Decent, if not spectacular Tripper/Disarmer. He'll eventually
effectively have a 36 Strength for purposes of doing Trips or
Disarms.

Maxxed out Search, Spot, and Diplomacy. UMD as well, but only at
the end. He can find traps, spot incoming, be the party face, and
at 13th he can self-supply his own Improved Invisibility or
Blink when necessary or use a scroll of See Invisible.

Lots of Charisma synergy - Smite Evil 1/day, Avenging Strike 7/day,
+ to Saves, Trip/Disarm checks, 10 Primal Screams for +6 Dex,
+2 Str, little bit of healing, and the skills mentioned above.

Staggering Strike - once this kicks in at 9th, that plus Avenging
Strike of +3d6, makes him extremely nasty if he gets a sneak
attack in - 2d4+4d6+6 = 25 hp of damage on average before
Magic or Power Attack. At 15th, that's 2d4+7d6+9 for 39 hp of
damage on average.

Saves - At 10th level, assuming only a +4 Cloak of Charisma and that
he's using a Primal Scream, he's got saves of Fort +20, Ref +14, and
Will of +10. At 15th, this jumps to Fort +25, Ref +17, and Will of +15
with a Cloak +6. Not including the extra +2 vs Enchantment.

Party Synergy - adds a bonus to Will Saves and makes it harder for
members of the party to be tripped or disarmed. If he gets knocked
to half hit points, people get stronger, faster and harder to kill.

Anyway, feel free to experiment with them if you want or comment.

mommy... i want your babies.

that small fact aside, does anyone have any idea how much longer the lgh aloofness on poly and wildshape will last, because whilst i like the druid, i have a nasty feeling that sooner or later, shaping will be kind of... deaded.

Are you quite sure? The littlest one is currently one month old and screams every couple of hours or so wanting food. The 2 3/4 year old is quite cute and fun, but wants to be taken to the park, school, etc...

Master of Many Forms seems likely to continue in some form, and as long as one form can be Green Hag...She-Hulk with Antlers exists.

interesting combination... are green-hags specifically good at taking the older one to school, and do they get better at it if they have levels in warshaper, or was it just coincidence.

It didn't change in last year's LGCS (I think the rule change preceded it), so I think it's unlikely to change now. I have a 12th level druid who would become unplayable under the new poly rules. I wouldn't be surprised to see a crack down on MoMF though, too much abuse.

its interesting that even with the now nerfed wild shape (where you get to look a lot like the animal of your choice) there is still a very strong anti-druid/pro-fighter lobby on the main boards wanting to also limit druid animal companions and spells

as the problem isn't the strong druid (the new rules combined with the spells from SpC make druids nearly as strong as before :D, now a druid just has to take "natural spell"), but the weak fighter in general, they will continue until every class is plutonized to total uselessness.

Hey guys, I don't mind comments on the builds, but the commentary on what may or may not happen at some point in the unforeseen future would seem to belong to another thread...
