If you want to rapidly increase your turning power do something like this instead: 1 cleric feat--Xtra Turn, Heighten Turning 2 cleric 3 cleric feat--Empower Turn 4 cleric +1 WIS 5 cleric 6 cleric feat--Quicken Turn 7 Radiant Servant Pelor 8 RSP +1 WIS 9 RSP feat--Transdimensional Spell 10 RSP 11 RSP 12 RSP +1 WIS feat--DMM Transdimensional 13 RSP 14 Heirophant--spc abil-Mastery of Energy 15 RSP feat--Feat This way, at 6th level, if you get ambushed by undead, you can sast consecrate as a standard action, move to the best position to benefit (or reverse the cast and move as needed), then Do a Quickened Heightened Empowered Turning (Or greater turning). With good charisma, 5 ranks knowledge religion, and the glory domain, you will easily dust the riff-raff, leaving only the BIG baddies to deal with... |
| paigeoliver01-16-07, 04:07 AM | Also realize that you could build a super-duper turn monkey and only encounter undead 5 or 6 times in your whole career. Luckily almost ANY turn monkey is going to be a full cleric (or possibly a Cleric with one level of Marshal), and thus will still be really useful. Much more useful than a dedicated trapspringer when there are no traps. |
