I'm assuming combat focus is in the planning for the dwarf? Likewise for the half-orc, why put points into INT? If it's going to be a fighter it's not giving you any more skills, and I doubt you'll have much, if anything, in the way of INT based skills. Put those 2 points into WIS for your WILL save (and spot/listen score). But, in general, what are you looking for the fighter to do? What roles are you looking to fill? Think along these lines, then plan out the character for a few levels. Even when 4th ed hits us and it will need to change, it's always nice to have a plan. -James |
| Demoyn08-17-07, 09:32 AM | I'd just like to echo Jame's sentiment. Change the stats a bit, and then pick either the offensive (half-orc) or defensive (dwarf) template based on how you want to play. As far as powerful? They're probably both about equally powerful depending on what you do with your money and feats. |
